For the last 17 years, Jared Wade has been racing in speedway. Today, the Wade Racing team is a family effort with Jared Wade as the current competing driver. Jared is one of the most successful speedway drivers in New Zealand, and has won many events and major titles in his racing career.

In 2003 at 20 years old, Jared was the youngest driver to ever win the NZ Superstock Championship. He went on to back this up by winning his first of three Waikato Championships that same year. In Superstock ranks Jared has been crowned 1NZ, 2nd NZ GP and 3rd North Island Champs twice.

Jared has been known as a big hitter in the Superstock class and this has made him one of the most popular Superstock drivers in New Zealand.
